Magazine publishing and print work is Pamela's first love. She launched her publishing career at Southern Living, Inc. where she eventually was named editor of Southern Living Destinations, a trade publication for the travel industry. She then moved to PMT Publishing where she became the Editor of Alabama, the statewide lifestyle magazine. Today, she continues to work in print as a freelance travel and features writer.
Editor
Pamela was editor for Alabama Magazine in the early 1990s. She led the charge to redesign the publication both editorially and graphically. Her mission was clear: to celebrate the people and places of the state with dignity and investigate its hardships with honesty.
The Alabama Media Professionals Association lauded Pamela for promoting multicultural awareness and fairness in reporting.
